Happy accident

I went out in the rain this morning and got a rather nice photo of a vineyard. I beefed it up a bit, turned it into a panorama and decided I wanted to see what black and white would do to it. Then I moved a slider that I hadn't played with before. Whoa! Look what happened. I like it!

Color version.

I do like the b&w; although, the color is also very nice.

The b&w gives me a feeling of the medieval.

Supposed to be sunny the rest of the week.

I wanted to soften it a bit, and then I moved it too much and loved the glow it gave.

This is On1 software.

but I think I prefer the color. I've been playing around with that On1 software, too.

I don't like the "artistic" approach from some of the photographers, but there's tons of information in them. The masking techniques just blow me away. I'm still working on difficult (tree line) masks.
