We're back from Fairbanks.
I bet you didn't even notice I was gone.
Right before we left Anchorage, I somehow managed to crash my RAW program and have to get with the guy at Corel who has promised to help me fix it, but in the meantime I'll try to post a few shots tomorrow while I'm trying to figure this computer crap out.
We had a great time at the Hot Springs, where I got some good Aurora shots and winter scenes. Then yesterday we watched the start of the Yukon Quest 1000-mile sled dog race which was a lot of fun. We were up on a bridge looking down, so the perspective was different and kind of cool. Today we rode the train back to Anchorage, 12 hours of absolutely gorgeous scenery with perfect weather, and a sunset tonight to die for. I couldn't believe we were so lucky. Denali and her sisters completely cloud-free and a red sunset over the Susitna River. It was really breathtaking.
Anyway, it's late tonight, but I'll try to post a couple tomorrow and then more when I figure out what's going on with my program.
Oh, gosh, I almost forgot - the Ice Museum. That was an amazing sight.
