Will return to the country in a few days and have a better view, but will NEVER have such good lenses as you have.

My dad was an amateur astronomer. He would have loved seeing this photo and been astonished that
someone could capture it without a telescope. (He'd be 105 if he were alive.)

but it was really cold and I couldn't get a good perspective outside my door, not starting my old Toyota at -20F.

Thanks for sharing, we've been overcast for weeks save maybe three mornings since this became visible. And it's guaranteed to be overcast whenever there's a meteor shower or aurora borealis.

Very nice.
