A day that started when I photographed some puddles after a tropical gully washer
Then, somewhere in big Pine Key there was a pink brick road with a little girl with red shoes
Arriving in Key West my son showed me the entrance to the Animal Rescue. He wanted me to read the sign for myself
On to traipsing through the Hard Rock Cafe which they happily let us do
Seeing this dream hat for 15 $ that I would have bought if I were about 30.
A photo of Key West's signature animal wondering: Did I just lay this egg?
Going to Mallory Square for sunset, and meeting this hard working Golden whose name is Cleopatra and who carries the money people hand out and puts it in the bucket for his fiddling Master
Can't leave out the obligatory sunset
And also have to let you peek in on Mom (as you know she is 88) dancing after a successful day

(19,379 posts)Love the sign, the rooster, the little girl, the sunset... Heck, I like all of 'em.
Your mom's having too much fun BTW.
I'll tell her the internet thinks she is having too much fun.
Take one look at her, and you know I'm not off the hook for more.
Tomorrow: a $ 11 trip to Pigeon Key. That includes a boat ride and back and a tour, but not the tip to the guide. The boat ride of FIFTEEN minutes at high speed, and back, is why I'm going (again). Haven't been on a fast boat since I've been here, and this is the least expensive way to get it.

(19,379 posts)If it's the one I'm thinking of that looks like a blast. I think you posted a picture of it before?

(22,380 posts)The crowd, and shows, the ocean action, the basics always look close to the same. The sunsets though are always different from each other.
Last year I won the summer contest with one I took of the people at that pier with the fiery sun in front of them.

That hat, WOW! Very nice. I would have bought it too, that is, if I were a hat person!

(22,380 posts)Though I did not know enough about St.Augustine to be a good tourguide. I have been there only once, years ago, on a short drive through. We spent the night there though, Mom and I, and we drove and walked through the center.
Here is a favorite, taken a Flagler College.
