Okay, I'm getting really pissed off

I've kept a low profile for controversial subjects, but I'm approaching my limit for bullshit. If anyone would like my e-mail for future contact, pm me.

I love you guys in the photo group, but the shit that goes on outside here is going to push me to the edge, and over.

I've joined the new group at jackpine, but will continue to participate in the photography group. I have avoided GD and GD P
for a long time now. I'd hate to see this group dissolve.

I think I'll sign up. I do belong to another forum, but it's pretty slow. Nice bunch of people, though.

Really cuts down on the irritating posts.

"Trash this thread" option is also helpful.

All the options make DU faster, and more enjoyable, to browse.

And I am fuming right now...but I will just come here for a few groups, and this is one of them. I usually miss all the drama unless I am foolish enough to look at the Home and Latest Threads.

I have registered at JackpineRadicals as well. It is not slow right now, but time will tell. Just taking the time to register there is sending a message, if you ask me. And you can still keep in touch with many people you know, and I am hoping it will be without all the drama.

Life can be so much better than what's going on out there.

Love the Photo Group though.

but I have been highly selective about responding to comments and thread views. The trash option is good.

That's how I stumbled into this group, relief from the "passion" that's a bit too intense for me right now.

As California Peggy said, it'll calm down... eventually.

I've signed up at another forum, which is full of smart people willing to discuss things in a civilized manner. But here, the photography group is the best.

I read some of the threads in Late Breaking News just to keep informed on what's happening but GD and GD-P are just too rabid for me. I don't need to raise my blood pressure.

I do need to spend more time in here. I've learned a lot in this group and shouldn't let DU primary wars keep me away.

You will find a calm place with lots of good posters. It is a Bernie site. So bear that in mind.

I still come to DU for news. Still willing to serve on juries--although a lot of alerts seem like a waste of time to me.
I'd be very disappointed if the photography group fell apart. I've learned so much here and enjoy interacting with
everyone.

I'm feeling pretty comfy there. I doubt that I'll abandon DU entirely, but GD: P is toxic. The Photo Group is now and has always been the best place on DU, and I won't abandon it.
