5. I was stunned

I looked at the gorgeous image number one, with mnhtnbb's name on it, and wondered when she started to take photos that resemble the work of Blue_in_AK
after learning it actually was Blue's photograph I felt a bit more normal.
What a lovely image that is!

Caught a few 'raindrops on leaves' some weeks ago, but the veins in that leaf make it outstanding!

NO WAY I'd get such a sunrise, especially because I'm not at 'home' now!

16. When it starts to turn winter, we get absolutely gorgeous sunrises. Makes it worth being awake...

since I have to walk Snowy anyway!

17. Right. I think I got some good ones last year or year before,

and I DO wake to look out the window, when I'm there. As I don't have a 'Snowy,' I glance out the window to decide whether to get UP and reach for the camera!

Will be back there Thursday, to see what's happening.

SUCH a good contest! If I enter, it'll just be to join the GROUP!

28. I am going to be bad cop...and request that all entrants go back and review dimensions of your photo

We had a dust-up the last time (and my first time!) I ran a contest that a number of the entries were in violation of the rule that the longest
side of your photo not exceed 800 pixels...and there were not only a number of entries which did exceed it, but those
entries were among the winners.

We're having a discussion on another thread about opening contests to more entries/photographer, and I wonder whether
ill feelings about one thing or another has reduced how many photographers enter. I will do my best to not let it be
because of not paying attention to the rule about size of photo submitted.

Please, everyone go back and check your dimensions and adjust accordingly to resubmit the photo if necessary. If anyone doesn't know how to do that, just right click on your photo and select view image info and the dimensions info will be there. Please don't make me contact everyone who has submitted
a photo in excess of the 800 px longest side rule. You can use photobucket to edit the size. If anyone needs more help, please let me know.
