Related: About this forumA few more quickie aurora shots
Daunting task going through all these photos, so I wanted to give you a little more. (I feel guilty I'm not next door helping my husband fill little holes in the wall, but this is more fun. )
Fisheye aurora. The river here is the middle fork of the Koyukuk River.
Aurora with the full moon behind clouds. The mountain is Mount Sukakpak.
Aurora with the Big Dipper. The light is approaching dawn at about 2:40 a.m.

We can even enjoy the Great Bear/Big Dipper in the bottom image.
Thank you, Blue_In_AK!
PS: Is the fish-eye the 7.5 mm Canon FD, by chance? If not, no matter: the lens in your hands is a machine to infinity.

(46,436 posts)My fisheye is the Canon 8-15. I really like it because at the 15 mm end, it's like a super wide angle.
