Just another reminder that the June contest submissions will start tomorrow June 11th.
Everyone thank you for all of your kind words and support!! This will be the first time I have ever hosted a contest and hopefully there will be many more after this one.
Have a wonderful day!!!

Not that I'm a control freak or anything. I am, but no one needs to know that.

Nothing I've got is out of the ordinary or technical, but if getting entries for the June Contest becomes as hard as it was for the Spring one, I may eventually join in. Most of my flood pictures were of disastrous destruction and taken on the lam (literally, getting out of the way of the river) so they're not really good photos.
I do have one pic that I actually named "a river runs thru it" when I filed it years ago, simply a photo of what normally happens up here if we get snow in the Winter. Again, it's nothing to write home about, but I will submit that if you end up having troubles even getting the contest up to twenty entries, like I did.
I hope that you will have a good time setting up this competition! So far, for me as a newbie, it's been an interesting endeavor and tho I may yet screw things up grandly with the Final Round approaching, it hasn't been as scary a duty as I thought it would be. (except for one typo I goofed up in the text that's driven me nuts all week, but so minor that nobody else probably even notices, ha!)
Good Luck, JDB, and I'm really looking forward to seeing all the photos that are truly inspired by your theme!
