I would be bored too...

But at least you'll have some nice clean clothes!

Cool pictures. Love the contrast between the color and the B&W.

We did laundry downtown while I was putting a new floor down in the laundry room.

I was reminded of how boring it can be waiting for the laundry to finish and how stark and bright those places often seem, especially late at night.

After I took these I discovered a couple of Charlie Bear dog treats in my pocket, left over from the morning walk, and decided in a boredom induced brainstorm, to try one.

Liver flavored as it turned out, and with a dried up bit of liver in the center...

I won't try to describe the result, except to say that my mouth was bone dry, the dog treat/cracker was bone dry, and their wasn't a drink to be found...

Ah, the times I've spent at laundromats...I've had clothes stolen from my apartment's laundry room down in the basement (ugh don't like carrying loads up and down three flights of stairs either) I found a laundromat/dry cleaners that is attended plus has a huge record store a block away...I have to drive three miles but it's worth it!

Your pictures remind me of an old Joe Walsh song, "The All Night Laundromat Blues"...

I got the all night laundry mat blues
Washing everything I own except my shoes
I got makeup 'round the collar and it smells like sweat
A dollar in the drier and it ain't dry yet
If you wear clothes, you got to pay the dues
Sing the all night laundry mat blues
Yes you do
Sing the all night laundry mat blues

when everything seems a bit...off. Lack of sleep combined with harsh lights and barren room (usually empty at those hours).

Thanks for the song!

Nothing great but I was taken by the bits of yellow spread about, which I didn't notice until I brought it up on the computer. I liked the fact that a piece of yellow laundry flashed across the dryer glass when I squeezed the shutter.
