(46,436 posts)I especially like "green."
I like Green, too. Green has to be the most difficult color to deal with, whether its photography or oil paint. Its fun to take it on as a challenge.
By the way, when oil painting, I usually mix my green from a variety of blues, yellows and black rather than using a pre-mixed green out of the tube. Much more "natural" colors that way.

(18,219 posts)in photography? I only ask because more of the photos that I take are "green" photos, since I love summer and nature and flowers. I never felt that it was a problem, but maybe my photos aren't all that good either. But they are mine and I love them.
Love that first one the best. Spring is springing. So many shades of green....wonderful.

(20,886 posts)The camera, or the sensors, I guess, tend to over saturate greens. There always seems to be too much yellow or too much blue. Frequently they just look fake. Same with paint. The best, most natural, greens are made with yellow and black rather than yellow and blue.
Normally, in a photo like this one, I would warm it up, turning the greens a bit brown. But since virtually everything was green here, I decided to just go in-your-face green, even though it heads toward that fake look. I think the house anchors it in reality.
