Oly has a new one!

OMD E M10.

A less expensive version of the M 5 or M 1. Half the price of the M 1 @ $699 body only and less than the M 5. A few less features than the other two, not weather proof, only three axis image stabilization but has a built in flash and wifi. Probably has less metal in the body than the 1 & 5, whoop de do.

Can take pre-orders for later delivery but if it's something you might be lusting for wait 6 months after initial delivery and search ebay for refurbished @ $300 or so. Oly has always replaced initial warranty claims and "autopsy the failures" to make production line improvements. You wind up with a better product than "new".

1. I will wait to see how it is received by users. I am looking at the EPM-2 or the EPL5.

Viewfinder isn't that imortant for you. For me it's essential. I do ally of long lens work and need the stability of a conventional 3 point stance.

Samsung is doing with their NX30, and the one on the Panny GX7. The GX7 would be considered if there was a huge price drop.

It looks really good. The contrast seems low, but it is cloudy out.

But we have been having a LOT of fires near where I live. Hell, hubby and I now have had photos run by sister station of the paper.

Yup, firebug is now suspected. Tripod is now sitting near camera.

I am not attached to the palm tree, he has been setting them off, and one is within even short lens range.

it will be the first rain in 42 days.

We are way behind in our normal rain totals. That does not help.
