Like CAPeggy said, the trees and water in the distance look like brush strokes in a painting. Very nicely done. Did you do some post-process work on the photo or did you achieve that with settings on the camera?

Really no post processing beyond the usual things like Unsharp Mask and a bit of light adjustment. Picture was taken out teh back window at home. I focused on Marie then raised the camera to get the shot - so the background is "out of focus" as a result - a result both of us appear to have liked...

As already said, the out-of-focus background does have an oil-painting feeling. I might crop just a little off the left and right sides, but this is a great shot!
