Not exactly a photography question, but there's a camera involved

I've had some issues with vandalism and theft on my property, I have reason to believe it's some kids from a nearby subdivision. If anything happens again I want to get photos to take to the sheriff and let them deal with it. What I'd really really really like to do is mount a trail-cam and connect it to my wi-fi so I can keep track of it without having to walk down there all the time. Anybody know if such a setup exists? I've done a bit of searching and have come up dry so far.

Yes, there are plenty of WiFi enabled trail cameras on the market... Earth_First Oct 2013 #2

Your biggest obsticle is going to be it's range; many are limited to 300 feet or less, and the longer the distance; the more you should expect to pay out.

Most WiFi enabled trail cameras are going to start at the $200-$300 range and upwards from there.

I guess it boils down to how much loss in property is worth the price point to determine how much to spend.

Additionally, if vandalism is your primary concern, and an ongoing issue; would a $300 trail cam loss/destruction keep you up at night?
