I didn't want him making a web near the hummingbird feeder--which he was doing, so I broke one end of his web
and he just went up to the gutter. ICK!

(31,399 posts)Just looked out this evening to see him back--with a buddy!--building two webs near
the hummingbird feeder.
Took out my fly swatter and whacked them out of the air. Didn't see where they went. But I'll not be surprised to see
them back up there tomorrow morning.

(22,756 posts)and try very hard to protect them but... it is possible that a hummingbird could get caught if the web is strategically located... I vote for the hummingbird
