In fact my son has a far better eye than me for a good photo, but he has no interest in learning about f-stops, ISO, shutter speed, developing raw files etc. so he just leaves his camera in full auto and shoots jpgs. He's come up with some amazing images. (But I do believe he could be even better if he'd put the effort into educating himself about the technical aspects.)
