I am new to photography

Just purchased a Nikon D3100 and a Sigma 70-300 mm 1:4-5.8 lens. Went to Alaska and would like to post a few pics for critique. Please let me know if this all right? Also what size works best for posting? 640x480 mp? If not that's ok too. Peace.

2. Welcome to the group. 640X480 is good, but most post at 800X600.

800X600 is big enough to show detail. At that size it is small enough to keep the file size within reason.

sorry, I am dying of cancer (kidney) and I was in the hospital for 5 days. Yes I am that close now. Scares the hell out of me, but not much I can do. Please let me know if you see a good photo and which one. Thanks. Peace.
