If you use Lightroom, Aperture, or Photoshop

EDIT: This deal is apparently through Google. Not sure what that means.

NIK software is having a special on their complete set of six plug-ins:

HDR Efex Pro 2

Silver Efex Pro 2

Sharpener Pro 3

Color Efex Pro 4

Viveza 2

Dfine 2

Regularly $499.00, there is a discounted price of $126.00 for all six if you purchase through the link at HDR Guide: http://hdrguide.com/hdr-efex-pro-review and use the promo code.

There is also a downloadable 15-day free trial, if you want to give their suite a spin (took about 30 minutes for me on what has to be the worlds slowest "high speed" internet)

I've never messed with HDR (which is what drew me to this article...well, that and this month's challenge). According to the article at the above link, and some of the letters in response to it, it won't replace Photomatix but is probably fine for intermediate photographers, so I'm sure it will be more than adequate for me. Fact is, I probably won't understand enough to even fully utilize it.

The only NIK Software product I have used is the Silver Efex Pro 2, which I like very much. Someone else in the group, who is a much better photographer than I, has also expressed satisfaction with the NIK Color Efex Pro 4...just can't remember which one of you it is.

Anywaaayyyy...I've downloaded the 15-day free trial to give it a whirl. I already own the Silver Efex Pro 2 software, so I'll have to see if the other five are worth the $126.00 they are asking for it.

It is an excellent deal for excellent plug-ins. I bought the collection (as discount) before Google bought the company. Great stuff.

Some, but not all, even work with Corel's Paintshop Pro.
