Spring contest update and POLL

I was thinking of opening a submissions thread on May 1 or I can wait until after the May contest. So here's a poll that I will run for 7 days and go from there.

So for now, think of rebirth, renewal and new beginnings while you are out and about with your cameras!

June 1st. We moved all the seasonal contest so that people could have the option to shoot and then enter new stuff at the end of the seasons no matter where they lived.

and make you permanent seasonal host. It is posted in this thread and could you look and see if there is anything I missed in the thread. There should be plenty of time for people to get and choose pics that there is no reason you couldn't start the contest right on the 1st and be finished well before the 21st. Yell if something comes up and you need help. Lots of us willing and able.

I just missed it somehow. I've been traveling a lot this past year and don't check in as often as I should. Sorry 'bout that.

I would prefer to wait a little bit.

If my photo ends up winning this time, I will try to get the submissions for the next contest done early since we are traveling down to Southeast AK for a couple of weeks by car and ferry starting May 17.
