That's a crapshoot even with brand-new film, let alone something that old. Yes, a lot of us do still shoot film - depending where you are there may be a proper lab locally that you can bring it to and talk to them about it; if they don't think they can process it then definitely use Film Rescue. They take AGES, but they can do things nobody else can (especially with dead processes like K14 or E4).

Film Rescue International (http://www.filmrescue.com/)was able to develop some old film I found that was in a weird format. The film was from about 1977 and a few of the pictures came out. It was pretty degraded but cool to get anything from it.

I guess you probably have more options with 35mm but I thought I would mention them.

Under any circumstances send that film out to a big commercial developer in a big box or a drug store, they don't have a clue on how to handle it. Someone already mentioned Film Rescue International, they are probably the best.
