We wanted to use the petals as a backdrop for some of our purchases, so the rose had to be plucked. I liked the way this turned out:

(10,751 posts)2. It was dark in the hotel room...
...and the picture is on top of a very dark table. There was a lamp above it and that's what lighted the rose.
Of course the lamp could have caused reflections more than it did... It just turned out that the light worked for this shot.
