These are lovely!

I actually thought that spot in the first picture was the moon...And the snow looks very luminous...

The flash did a wonderful job of highlighting the trees...very artistic!

when I got the photos on my computer and saw the 1st photo and the "moon" I was amused...the moon was actually directly behind me when I took the photo... realized then it was just spots... kinda looks 'otherworldly'

One of my all time favorite things is the magnificence of the landscape when enhanced by freshly fallen snow. I eagerly await the first snowfall each winter. I'm beginning to worry that we won't have snow for Christmas this year.

my son is in Park City and his livelihood depends on snow

I love the snow... Yes, new snow is always magical

We're not predicted to get any until late next week. It's been a particularly dry and clear winter for us, after a very wet summer and last year's record snowfall.

ed. And I love your shots. I think night photography is a lot of fun.
