Aiman and Sofia

Since I'm having trouble with my PhotoBucket uploads, I'm not even going to try with my pictures of the grandchildren, but I have posted a few at my SmugMug site for the fans of the kiddies. The children were amazing and it was so hard to say good-by. Aiman is no longer a baby but a 3-year-old kid with some really incredible athletic ability (not surprising since dad was a pro rugby player). He loves to climb trees and traverse the monkey bars, can swim the length of the pool, and do back flip dives into it -- not just falling backwards, but actually flipping over, which blew all of our minds since nobody showed him how. Sofia is a little princess (18 months now) with loads of personality. And she's finally getting HAIR. Actually, it grew quite a bit in the two weeks I was there. She seems surprised by it; she keeps grabbing little tufts and pulling, like "what the heck IS this stuff on my head." So funny.

Anyway, here are a few pics. I have hundreds, but PhotoBucket is driving me nuts, so these are just my "photos of the day."

It seems like just a year or so ago that I was down in CA for Aiman's birth. I do wish I could see them more often.

Seriously, besides being just fun snapshots of grandkids, they are awesome as photography. In other words, cute kids, OF COURSE, but the photos are so much more than that!

I knew I'd be lingering to see how they've grown. Then I got caught up in choosing favorite photos, and each time I had one it got replaced. Wonderful family, all 4 of them.
But OHHH the babies! Or not so much babies.
I can simply be grateful they have all they have, and you for a Grandmother to top it off.
(not enough photos)

I'd be happy to post some more if you want. I don't want to bore people, but they really are cute kids. It was great to spend enough time with them so that they felt comfortable with me and no longer shy. It's hard being grandma from so far away.

glimpses of them as they grow and we get to watch. Those who may not comment here still look and love it, I'm sure of it.
Not only are they beautiful, they are being beautifully portrayed through your artistry.
Everybody wins.

Sofia is coming into her own. Love her check and chin line. A second drop dead beautiful child.
Precious - and the hand holding is precious.
Thanks!
