Fluffy

Fluffy on top of the world.

Fluffy trying to intimidate me.

Fluffy looking dark and mysterious.

Fluffy looking pretty and showing its colors.

Fluffy is a fall webworm that is behind on its destruction. It should be spinning a web with other fall webworms and killing Oak trees and assorted shrubs and plants by now. Instead, Fluffy is hanging around my teapot planter. So I made Fluffy pose for me.

Course, a bird could have eaten Fluffy. Ah, nature.

Thanks!

Unfortunately, I think it ends with Fluffy being eaten by an anole. (or a bird)

I got stung by something that looked like that when I was about 6 and I have avoided those kind of things ever since.

On the plus side I'm having fun imagining that the first two are Fluffy crawling across someone's bald head.

A defense mechanism.

They also don't really kill trees. They can eat all the leaves off plants and trees but a healthy tree/plant can survive the assault. And the leaves around the web nests can and do die, causing the tree/plant to look rather ugly.

I took poetic license - a caterpillar named Fluffy needs to sound tougher than it really is. lol

I have never bothered any bug that looked like that. Smart little critters!

And poetic is my favorite of all the licenses. I could probably get around with out a driver's license but I'd hate to live in world where people weren;t free to create.
