One of the most under appreciated guitarists.

I've listened to Buckethead for years, but I rearely ever see mention of the man. Sure he's a bit... different, however he is undoubtedly brilliant.

I just stumbled across Praxis live from TN in 2004 and was floored by the performance.

If he is not on your list, I suggest adding him.

Anyone who hangs out with Les Claypool is a musician alright. And I kind of enjoy his on-stage persona. He's the kind of player that is so good it's hard for him to find commercial success.

I was very impressed at his skills, but it's also obvious he understands the music too. He's not just playing notes, he's playing notes with intent.
