Pisses me off that stuff like this and Dylan, CSNY, etc. are still relevant.

Anyone know - who's doing the lead. David Ruffin or Eddie Kendricks ?
Seeing mixed comments on various sites.
Also - if you haven't visited Hitsville USA Motown Museum...DO IT !
Looks like of hokey and trivial - a couple houses on a main drag in Detroit but walking through it is an amazing immersion in the late 60's sound.
They do a fun thing at the end in the Studio. Ask people in the tour group a question about Motown. First person to get it right, the guide says "Come over here...stand right here and lean up toward that mike...now, look at that picture" And it's a pic of David Ruffin recording some song. Other examples were Stevie Wonder at a piano and Diana Ross....
Lot of fun. Can you tell I got to do the David Ruffin look (and damn, was I a cool looking old white guy...lolol).

(11,802 posts)8. I'm so there next time I'm in Detroit!
Wish I knew last week. Damn. Although, sometimes I find myself with a day off in the middle of the week because of scheduling conflicts when I'm in Toledo....
