(11,802 posts)I'm kinda embarrassed to admit, I only recently discovered him watching Luke Cage. I was all "who the fuck is that? How did I miss out?" And more importantly, how was he not more well known, dig? What a shame, that voice deserved more. RIP Charles.

(11,802 posts)But I'm a huge soul fan. Otis, Marvin, Sam n Dave, Wilson... Such amazing vocals. Performances I could only dream of being able to accomplish. How I missed out on this guy is beyond me...

(11,802 posts)And you know I can sing the blues! Soul on the other hand, try as I might, I can't get the tonality right. It's not horrible, but I can't seem to get the right feel. Have to stick to the uptempo soul tunes. My voice fits them bettah.
