the bruce springsteen channel on siriusxm radio has a program called, reasonably enough, "cover me". it's about 50-50 between other artists covering springsteen songs and the boss covering other songs.


my personal favorite at the moment is his cover of purple rain, just a few days after prince died.

the one you picked is a good one as well.

eta: apparently the boss co-wrote code of silence. but then, he also co-wrote because the night, which is listed as a cover in my link, i guess because patti smith recorded it first.

But on "The Essential Bruce Springsteen" album, they're both credited.

They've worked together so often that I can't say 100% who's responsible for what.
