(51,613 posts)Have you seen the movie of their bassist Arthur Kane "New York Doll"? My friend from Art School in NYC in 1980 turned me onto them and T. Rex.

(51,613 posts)I have all of The Dolls and T. Rex original LPs and many VHS/DVDs too. I even have a T. Tex 45 that came inside A Beard of Stars and two others (Hot Love/Rip Off, The Groover/Midnight and Hot Love/Ride a White Swan). I also have the 45 of Lou Reed Vicious/Walk on the Wild Side. I have no one to leave them to when I die...that is a problem. I want someone to appreciate them as I do and not sell them off as a whole collection to a used record store. I have a nice little collection of rock and roll and a lot of original and rare good stuff like King Crimson. Someone on DU suggested I leave them with a relative I trust and needs the money to sell on E Bay to individual collectors so I guess that's what I'll do.
