(3,569 posts)Why the Wow? That's pretty much the songs they've played since Joe Walsh joined the band, and pretty much in the same order. Let's get a wow when the play Outlaw Man Dueling Dalton, Midnight Flyer, and Bitter Creek.

(33,643 posts)He was pretty much the 'front man' of the band since the start. In a way I kinda feel they should've done something like what the Dead did post-Jerry. TTBOMK, they never again billed themselves as 'The Grateful Dead' ...
Anyways, Witchy Woman & Those Shoes are actually not really recent concert staples of theirs, but the rest definitely are. Both Henley songs, so that makes sense. Though kinda they're substituting those for Heart of the Matter and some other Henley solo-tune they used to do which changed from tour to tour ... sometimes Dirty Laundry for example.
They're friggin' great 'live' though still to this day. Their sound quality is AWESOME and voices all still pretty strong. Pretty much like listening to the old records, though some are rocked out a little more. Have fun!

(3,569 posts)The Grateful Dead were billed and did play at Fare The Well in 2015. With Trey Anastasio in the Garcia role. They have toured under many different names since August 9,1995 for the most part however. The Other Ones, The Dead, and now Dead and Company.
