(3,827 posts)prefer Bob's versions. My favorite Dylan years were the mid-sixties and seventies. He did have some decent shows with Jerry and the boys in the 80s, but the record released by the record company blows to high heaven. lol
The Grateful Dead are one of those bands that I could listen to every freakin day for the rest of my life and never grow tired of. I have over 400 boots by them. One day I hope to have them all...
Thanks for the nice posts.

(8,244 posts)I'm relating to that. I've been hanging out with my dad pretty much around the clock for the past 12 days. We've been listening to the Dead the whole time since it seems to be the only thing we both agree on. I haven't gotten sick of it yet, and I don't think there is another band I would be able to say that about.

(6,670 posts)...good enough for Beck to sample, in Jackass. Got a whole song out of that electric piano riff.

(8,244 posts)Just kidding. There isn't any real penalty for that. I like that version a lot. I had tried to get into 13th Floor Elevators a couple months ago but nothing was sticking for me. I even checked 1 of their CDs out from the library and listened to it like 3 times. But it wouldn't take. My brain was like "Nah". What are some other good songs by them?
