For all the great Dylan selections. I am listening to them as I have my coffee.

How’s everything at the Glam abode these days? These are just some awful tough times right now. Like, Dystopian.... November can’t get here soon enough ... hope you are all staying well ... human, canine, and feline!

Fortunately live within the first 3 counties outside Chicago so masks are a regular thing. You see the occasional asshole with it under their nose. And the less occasional asshole wearing it under their chin, but it’s few and far between.

Zeppelin is finally dialed in with his meds. Half a Kepra 3 times a day, quarter Phenol twice a day. We found out by accident that if he misses any, expect a seizure. So our lives now revolve around the dog. ‘‘Tis ok. He’s my buddy. It’s worth it.

Mom is doing ok. With the Parkinson’s, she’s never gonna be normal again, but she seems to be maintaining. Although, she’s turning into my grandmother more and more. Pissed her off a few weeks ago. We were shopping and I had my blind aunt on my right arm. And, so that it’s understood, taking mom grocery shopping is a two out-in the store-ordeal. So we were down to the last 4-5 aisles and I yelled out, “mom, you don’t need anymore tampons! You’re stocked up! You got tampons for months!” (She’s passed menopause by the way). My aunt and I are laughing our asses off. Man was she pissed! I forgot that unlike me, she actually cares about what people she’s never met and will never see again think. So she’s been mad at me for weeks for “embarrassing” her. I told my aunt she should have come back with “and they seem to be out of your extra small condoms.” Although, had she responded with that, I’d have had to been carried out!

Other than that, life is ok. If you ignore secret police, the death of one of my heroes, testing causes Covid, etc.

How you be? How’s the beautiful Sophie? Kids?

Hope you doing well mama!

You’re too much....

I spent a few years taking care of my grandma and then my mom when they were frail. Been there, done that. Know what you’re dealing with. Keeping your sense of humor is paramount, and it looks like you’ve got that covered!

Glad to hear Zeppy is hanging in there. No other choice, right? Sophie is doing well, although kind of mopey from the heat.

My county was designated “red” by DeWine’s color code system recently so masks were required... now that we’re “out of the woods” since the mask mandate helped so much, guess what, the mandate was ended and people are getting lazy about wearing them again. So idiotic. I expect another spike here soon. I hear you about assholes who wear them wrong. I just try not to go out if I can help it and go places that I know won’t be crowded. No inside restaurants for me till there’s a vaccine. This “new normal” better not be normal much longer!!
