I read Hardy's bio of Townes and it was really good and revealing, but also too much after awhile. He was a longtime alcoholic and sometime addict who could be just such a prick to so many. I still love his music but man that book was depressing. Earle obviously still thought a lot of him; he named his son after him - Justin Townes Earle.
