The last honest to goodness Aerosmith record was better than you may remember

It did not get much airplay when it dropped. Even though this was the reunion of the original line up not many people got back on the bandwagon.

In fact it took a Run DMC collaboration a few short years later to resurrect their careers.

Which led to a second act that had limited artistic and IMMENSE commercial success.

Anywaaaayy. Ladies and Gents AEROSMITH

The album hadn't dropped but they played a couple tunes off it - My Fist, Your Face and Let the Music Do the Talking.

Great show, better than the Scorps, who just seemed to be going through the motions.

Right after they got back together - just a quick Boston NY Philly Baltimore tour to get back into shape I suppose

They called it the Back in the Saddle show.

Then this record came out and I bought it on sight.

I've been a fan since Mama Kin hit the radio when I was in Jr. High and Darkness is one of my favorite songs they ever did.
