She was this beautiful quiet "hippie" chic and like me focused on completing the self-paced English class ASAP. It got to be a game with us racing to see who could complete the class first. Along the way we started talking and I found out she sang with Lynerd Skynerd. This was in 1970. I wish the class lasted longer or I was more outgoing, but it was still pretty cool.

I believe that she still works with L.S. now (her Husband Gary Rossington rejoined too) but second gen Lynyrd Skynyrd is not very good IMHO
I think Rossington - Collins was a far better band
