I'm pretty sure it was "Reach Out IN The Darkness".

I was just a young boy then. Always liked the vocals and Hammond organ on the chorus.

On Edit: Huh. The album cover really does say, "Reach Out OF The Darkness". Never saw the LP before. Just the 45, when I was browsing the rack. But it's been fifty years.

I met Jim Post years ago when he lived in Galena, Illinois about 10 years ago. He did an excellent Mark Twain as well at a small theater there that brought tourists in.

Friends of ours who had a superb restaurant there called the Perry Street Brasserie, would have Jim come in and entertain diners on special ocassions. His ex-wife Janet was an Author. Both went to the same church as our friends. Jim has since left Galena after his divorce from Janet.
