Van Morrison - 1978 - Cleaning Windows

I met Van, briefly, at the Black Rose in Boston, back in the late 70's. He wasn't playing, just there to enjoy the scene. We were both jockeying to get a beer at the bar.

I had position on him at the bar. He's a pretty short guy. I did a double take and said "are you Van Morrison?". He said something to the effect" bloody right and if you cared, you'd you let me in to get a goddam beer". Hey, what could I say or do? He got served before I did. He had a Guiness Stout Draft, IIRC.
