every bit he had to the music and the audience and few Blues musicians can
take it to the level Collins could every night.

1. Many years ago I was at a night club hours before the show...

I had heard of Albert Collins and loved his music. I did not know what he looked like.

I was sitting at the bar when this old (to me, anyway) guy came and sat next to me and struck up a conversation. He seemed to know the bartender and insisted my drinks be put on my tab. We talked for maybe 45 minutes.

Imagine my surprise when the show began and he walked out on the stage. Great show, and a really nice guy.
