So he booked everybody within 100 miles of his studio on any given day.

It seemed like every time I was home sick from school freaking Paul Williams was on the show - And he was better with the Muppets:

Other country pickers like Roy Clark or Jerry Reed worked with him pretty often.
Carl Perkins Les Paul and Mark Knopfler all worked with Chet over the years as well.

He especially enjoyed working with Mark and they performed and recorded together on several occasions:
