🕊 Angel From Montgomery, Live, Bonnie Raitt & John Prine, RIP


- Austin City Limits, Americana, 18th Annual Honors, Nov. 23, 2019, PBS TV. The song 'Angel from Mongomery' was written by John Prine and originally appeared on his self- titled 1971 album, 'John Prine.'
Prine struggled with health issues throughout his life, surviving cancer twice. He died in April, 2020 from complications caused by COVID-19. Earlier the same year, he received the Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award.

Thanks for posting. John Prine is a favorite since high school. Saw him at the Wheaton, IL fair grounds a few times, and bought this album when it first came out.

We went to several Bonnie Raitt concerts that were just terrific. Thanks for posting.
