I admit my favorite is Ice Water, but these 2 are great, too.
Related to your comments (overdubbed & just him) the first time I ever heard of Leo was at Wise Fool's (or was it Kingston Mines) in Chicago.
We had played a couple all ages shows there, and opened for an artist there.
We had an early gig in Evanston (coffeehouse near Northwestern U) so we thought we'd stop & see if the stage manager would let us in the back door.
He did. We're chatting with him while listening to the start of the 2nd set.
I ask "How many guys are there, two or three?" He says "No, just one."
I peaked around the corner and sure enough all that was coming out of one guy! So, your comments resonate with me.
Went out & bought Mudlark & Ice Water the next day the record store was open.
He's amazing.
