When my son was 11, I sat him down on the couch and played a Maggot Brain cassette for him. He told me when he was in college at Humboldt State in Northern California, he and a friend were at a George Clinton concert. As he heard the opening notes of Maggot Brain, he told his friend to pay attention and listen. All these years later, it's still a treasured shared experience between us.

It still does. Absolutely amazing guitar work!
