Sang it in college choir. The Dies Irae is great fun.

He was the master. Wrote Falstaff at age 80, IIRC.

I like other styles as well.

The Met Opera Chorus has always sounded to me like a bunch of opera singers who never made it to the big time so they sing as loudly as they can. The sopranos are especially screechy in this performance. They slaughtered the Mozart Requiem unforgivably, too.
