1. In praise of TCM

I watched 'Judgement at Nuremberg" (1961) yesterday. It was powerful and complex.

Watching Maximilian Schell go to town on Montgomery Clift was ... disturbing... (Clift as the sterilized simpleton). And yet, I understand the defense lawyer's job. Always makes me tear up. And Schell's character admitted how loathsome it was to do so.

This has nothing to do with Tuesday's TCM schedule... just a general TCM note. TCM plays great movies.
