Good film directed by one of my favorite directors, Jacques Tourneur (Cat People, Night Of The Demon, Out Of The Past).
The film has a mysterious and atmospheric foreboding that reminds me of Gaslight, only I like it even more. And Hedy Lamarr is absolutely ravishing. If you ever needed convincing that hers was one of the most beautiful faces of the golden age of Hollywood, this film will make you a firm believer. Wow.
