I think you need to go back and add shadow and nuance. Perhaps additional interest with people walking by.

It was actually an overcast day and there were virtually no shadows to speak of. I faked the sky. And I'm absolutely terrible at painting/drawing people!

Detroit should open a museum called Bifs curated historical collections. Its a real treat when you post your renditions of old abandoned buildings! It gives me a touch of nostalgia.
I'll never quit painting those. I just get sidetracked. You know how it goes!
