Quiz: 🎃 What Will Be Written On Your Tombstone? ⚰️

Me: Don't Make Me Come Down There! 😏

You're in charge! You keep everything in line in life and you're worried things won't go as smooth without you. Even in the afterlife, you're going to be watching everyone and making sure they stay on the straight and narrow. Mortals beware!

Since there won't be one. My body will go to the state Medical University.
The funeral industry is, in my opinion, one of the least ethical and worst scams in the country.

My girlfriend used to live outside Tombstone and I would make the drive
with great expectations.

"I got sixteen miles to go
on that old Charleston Road
I got the hammer down
I'm Tombstone bound.
As I cross the river
my body starts to shiver
my heart begins to pound
I'm Tombstone bound.

'Cause at the end of my journey
there's a prize
I got the starry night, the moony night,
the magic in your eyes
I'm Tombstone bound.

Just a few more miles to go.
I can see the lights
in the houses below.
I'm rolling into town
I'm Tombstone bound.

When I die and I'm buried
in my ground
I want the words on my grave
to say; Oh Lord'
He was Tombstone bound, Tombstone bound."

CDs are available lol.

You love music and your very essence feels like a song. You'll keep on singing until your dying days and even though your song will come to an end, it won't be completely buried!

What I want my tombstone to say:

Nevertheless She Persisted

I'm not a "her," I expect to die in January, and my "song" has been out of tune for a very long time. (As in I can't carry a tune, not that I don't love music!)

What I'd really like it to be is this quote from H.P. Lovecraft: "That is not dead which can eternal lie, and with strange eons even death may die."

I saw this on a tombstone when I was hiking in Scotland:

The soul of man is immortal and its growth and splendor is that of a thing with no limits.

Which obviously, I've never forgotten.

Give my knees to the needy, don't you pull that stuff on me,
Hand me down my walking cane it's a sin to tell a lie
Send my mouth way down south and kiss my ass goodbye"

I read this post and I should been thinking of one for myself as I have been helping to plan a memorial service recently for a family member so those thoughts of when I die "I want" keep coming up
Anyhow as I was reading this post
I suddenly thought
"Lord give me wings to fly home"
