Moose: 1 Prius: 0 Fish & Game says this "demonstrating" behavior is totally normal. Usually take aggression out on a tree, not a car.

(2,050 posts)I lived there, one day I heard my Dog freaking out on the deck at my place, walked around the corner to see him barking at a moose that was staring back at him.
Griz was around ten feet off the ground on the deck, HUGE moose, swing his head to stare at me, his back hair stood up, I ran as fast as I could, he trapped me between two tank trucks.
This went on for twenty minutes, I'd go to one end, he'd run over and swing his head in to look at me, his hair would go up, this means you're it.
I saw a female and a young moose nearby, they had come into town in the dead of winter for food I think, they finally walked off.
People are killed by moose in Alaska, one incident happened at the University of Anchorage years ago right next to a building entrance, they stomp you to death.
So if you see a moose, run.....

(12,132 posts)it knocked some of our new fence out and got a couple panels on the screen enclosure. Withstood a hurricane, but not a bear. It went in the neighbors garage across the street and ate a pound of butter out of her freezer.
