I like Coke.

Pepsi is too sweet and has less fizz.

I don't often drink pop (soda, for all you other people) because of the carbonation. The digestive tract has two openings and CO2 gas that one introduces into it has to come out one end or the other.

There is no beverage I enjoy more than Classic Coke in the red bottle or can. Cannot stand coffee, so drink a Coke first thing in the AM.

Will not drink Pepsi, so if dining out where there in no Coke, I will drink Dr. Pepper instead

It is made with sugar instead of corn syrup.

Much cleaner taste and tastes like it used to.

it was Coke and only Coke and no other cola would do. But doc said I had to give it up. I've grown to like water but it's sure not exciting. I won't drink diet with any poison fake sugar so water it is. Although I have recently discovered La Croix carbonated waters. The Tangerine and Orange are pretty neat when I wanna feel like I'm having something besides water.

Other sweet treats, too. Ended up losing about 35 pounds. I've since put back on about 10 of those, but I still feel great.

Anyway, I started allowing myself one soda per week. But what I noticed was, Pepsi now smelled like perfume to me. So I switched over to Coke.

(Root Beer, on the other hand, has always smelled like licorice, so no difference there.)

18. I've heard other people say that about root beer

and I HATE licorice so I don't understand why I love root beer lol. Loved. I never noticed a licorice flavor.

Yeah I dumped soda, sweet tea and stopped putting cream and sugar in my coffee. But I didn't stop drinking beer so I mostly just stayed the same weight. Man, quitting sugar is harder than quitting cigarettes was. Even with the punishment I get when I eat dessert I still crave it more than anything. I should just switch to heroin. I think it would be safer and I'd lose weight.

Maybe 3 or 4 times a year I'll give in at a restaurant and order a coke and it is deeeeeeeeeLiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiicious but I pay for it later. Between my diabetes pills and my body not being accustomed to it anymore...that sugar just crashes around inside my body and wears me right out.

I am not a fan of cola type drinks, but when it is the only game around I chose Diet Pepsi.
