Help, Please?

How do I cut and paste a picture to post it? I only seem to be able to post a pic by providing a link. Appreciate your help for a newbie!

1. There is no picture upload feature

In order to post a picture, you must provide a link. You can use any of various picture hosting services - eg photobucket etc. to upload your photos to those services and then post a link here.

right click copy, left click paste. Most pictures will post that way.

3. Hey...

Right-click over the photo. Hit 'copy' and it may draw up an https: that posts the picture - or you get that link.

Paste it to your DU post, see which comes up in 'preview.'

If you get that 'link' go back to original picture, right-click again and hit 'save picture as' to your desktop or wherever you save photos.

Once you have the picture, use this easy one: http://postimages.org/ .

Choose image of your photos, the next screen has an https: that lets you copy and paste to your DU post.

5. We can also use our "Snipping Tool" and copy...

just about anything we see on the internet - like paused frames on videos - and cut/edit photos.

I haven't worried about sizing too much, the photos seem to fit most often.

I've never figured out how to get an "avatar" - I bet I could find better "yellow dogs" out there. My favorite:
