Game of Thrones - Roy Dotrice has passed away

Roy Dotrice, who had the minor role in Season 2 as Pyromancer Hallene, has passed away at age 94. Dotrice was also known as the record setting narrator of the audiobooks to the A Song of Ice & Fire series (233 characters, I think)

I'm sorry to learn that he passed away, but at age 94 he had lived a good, long life and brought happiness to many people.

was Jim Dale, the guy that did a great job with the Harry Potter books.

Jim Kramer and Kate Redding did the Wheel of Time books are another possibility - Kramer did the male POV chapters and Redding the female ones. Of course, they're both American, so the accents might not work.

Paul Michael did a great job with the DaVinci Code with the various accents in there.

I've had a lot of long commutes over the past 10-12 years and Dotrice has helped me through them. Great way to re "read" the books to refresh your memory of them.

in season 2, episode 9. He got all excited when Tyrion used the wildfire to blow up part of Stannis' fleet.
